Discover Colourful Magic at Royal Pavilion

Brighton’s Royal Pavilion has done it again, unveiling a brand-new exhibition that will dazzle your senses and ignite your imagination. Running until 19 October 2025, the COLOUR exhibition is a vibrant celebration of the magic and meaning of colour, featuring immersive displays, art installations, and sensory experiences.

As you approach this iconic landmark, you’ll be greeted by a hand-painted “rainbow road,” a creation by local artist Lois O’Hara. This swirling, multi-coloured pathway, crafted in collaboration with sustainable paint brand YesColours, guides visitors through the gardens to the Pavilion’s grand entrance. Lois’ work is designed to spark movement and emotion, inviting you to step into a world full of life and energy.

Inside, the Pavilion’s Regency rooms have been transformed with lighting, sound, and colour-themed objects. The Banqueting Room, now a Feast of Colour, showcases multi-coloured fantasy food and vivid pigments. Exclusive artist collaborations add to the magic, featuring creations by legendary milliner Stephen Jones, paper flower displays by Karen Hsu, and a stunning Bird of Paradise by Zack Mclaughlin.

For families, the Great Kitchen becomes a playground of colourful exploration, while children can embark on a journey with Cami the Chameleon. Adults will appreciate the historical significance of each room, curated to evoke emotions and enchantment.

Brighton & Hove Museums have also lined up a series of events, from paint and sip workshops to a Pride Family Picnic and even a Silent Disco.

Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this exhibition is a must-see. And if you’re thinking of making Brighton your home, we at Sawyer & Co are here to help you find the perfect spot in this vibrant city. Book your COLOUR experience at brightonmuseums.org.uk and let the magic unfold!
