Brighton and Hove residents, mark your calendars for a heartwarming event! Together Co, a cherished local charity, is celebrating 25 years of fostering community connections with a special one-day bus roadshow. This delightful event, part of the Connect in 25 campaign, is set to take place on Thursday, June 12th, and promises to be a day filled with connection, conversation, and community spirit.

In collaboration with Brighton & Hove Buses, Together Co invites everyone to hop on their newly designed beach-themed bus. This bus will journey through the city, stopping at key locations from Bevendean and Whitehawk to central Brighton and the iconic seafront. With TV presenter Gail Porter and other special guests on board, the roadshow aims to bring the conversation about social health into the heart of our public spaces.

The roadshow is a highlight of Loneliness Awareness Week, reflecting Together Co’s 25 years of dedication to supporting those experiencing loneliness. At each stop, the team will share inspiring stories, offer practical advice, and invite everyone to discover how they can get involved in this meaningful cause.

The celebration will culminate at Brighton Palace Pier, which will be illuminated in Together Co’s colours. Here, Dishoom Permit Room will distribute flowers, and Brighton & Hove Buses will offer ice cream vouchers to early birds. The bus, fully accessible and designed with dementia-friendly features, will be open for visitors to explore when stationary.
