Autumn is the perfect time to explore the wonders of nature, and what better way to do so than at Dobbies’ Brighton Little Seedlings Club? This November, the club is offering a delightful, free workshop that will take children on an exciting journey through the lifecycle of leaves. Scheduled for Sunday, 1st November, this event promises to be both educational and entertaining.
At the workshop, young nature enthusiasts will delve into the fascinating world of plants. They’ll learn about what plants need to thrive, why leaves vary in shape and size, and the science behind the vibrant colours of autumn foliage. The session will also explore leaves from around the globe, highlighting how fallen leaves contribute to nourishing the soil and providing habitats for wildlife.
But that’s not all! The workshop includes creative activities where children can craft their own paper plate leaf wreath to take home. It’s a fantastic way for kids to engage with nature and express their creativity.
Dobbies’ Brighton Little Seedlings Club is renowned for its engaging, hands-on activities that help children discover the natural world. These monthly workshops are a great opportunity for families to spend quality time together while learning about seasonal topics.
