As part of our commitment to the local community, Sawyer & Co are supporting various local events and organisations. Below is a list of just some of the work we have done in recent years. For the latest news on our community work please visit our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Bungee Jump for JustLife

A team of four of our most intrepid adrenaline junkies helped raise money and awareness for this amazing charity by taking a leap of faith out of a cage to end up dangling over Brighton Marina.

The Santa Dash for the Rocking Horse Appeal

Every year in December the seafront in Hove is awash with hundreds of ‘Santas’ dashing for a very worthwhile cause. Sawyer and Co are regular competitors raising well-earned money for the Rocking Horse Appeal.

Big Sleep Out for Off The Fence

To raise money for Off The Fence, a Brighton-based charity committed to providing life-saving support for the homeless, three of our stoic employees took part in the Big Sleep Out. They spent their Saturday night sleeping outdoors in the wind and rain, experiencing a tiny fraction of what it is like to be on the streets in winter.

Tough Mudder for Justlife and the Clock Tower Sanctuary

Challenging himself both physically and mentally our Director Adam Farrell pushed himself out of his comfort zone running this epic mud run with world class obstacles. Money raised was donated to The Clock Tower Sanctuary and Justlife.

The Warrior Run for Albion in the Community

Our team of health fanatics spent a Sunday morning getting down and dirty to raise money for Albion in the community, a local charity that uses the power of football and the reach of Brighton & Hove Albion to deliver projects in the areas of health, education, disability and social inclusion.

Vale Park Fun Day – Help in the Community

Sawyer and co were proud to have sponsored the Vale Park Fun Day. A great turn out and atmosphere ensued despite the inclement weather. A considerable sum was raised to go towards some great causes including a contribution to the Shoreham air show disaster.

House Fire in Local Area – Help in the Community

On 10th December tragedy struck in the form of a local house fire affecting several families very close to Christmas.

Our Portslade office were lucky enough to find one of these families a new home for 6 months. In addition they took the family a Christmas tree and provisions to help make things feel a little better.
