This February, Sussex Emmaus invites you to embrace the spirit of friendship at their delightful Happy Pal-entine’s evening. Set to take place on Friday, 13th February from 6pm to 9pm, this event promises a night filled with fun, laughter, and a whole lot of heart in Portslade, Brighton.

Forget the usual Valentine’s Day clichés and come along to enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you bring your best pals or venture solo to make new connections, you’re in for a treat. The evening will feature a selection of board games to spark some friendly competition, and the pièce de résistance – freshly made pizza. A talented chef and companion from the Emmaus community will be serving up delicious slices straight from the on-site pizza oven, ensuring your taste buds are as entertained as you are.

Since 1997, Sussex Emmaus has been a beacon of hope for over 1,500 individuals experiencing homelessness, offering not just a home, but a chance to rebuild lives through work opportunities and wellbeing support. Every ticket sold for Happy Palentine’s contributes directly to this noble cause, supporting the charity’s residents, known as companions, on their journey towards a brighter, more secure future.
