Get ready, Brighton! SpiegelGardens is making a grand return to the heart of the city for Brighton Fringe 2026, and this time, it’s bigger and bolder than ever. From 1st to 31st May, Victoria Gardens will transform into a bustling hub of creativity and celebration, welcoming back the beloved Tivoli Spiegeltent and the much-adored WundaBarn.
This year, the festival promises a world-class programme featuring international productions, late-night entertainment, and top-tier family shows. The Tivoli Spiegeltent will once again be the crown jewel, hosting premier performances that cater to all ages. Meanwhile, the WundaBarn offers an intimate setting for experimental programming, pushing boundaries and celebrating new voices.
But that’s not all! The outdoor Spotlight Stage is set to be a major highlight, offering a vibrant mix of free entertainment. From poetry to DJs, cabaret to choirs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. And with the return of Fringe City, performers across the Fringe will have the chance to showcase their craft, making it an exciting opportunity for audiences to discover something new.
SpiegelGardens 2026 builds on the success of last year’s monumental season, which saw over 12,300 tickets sold and raised significant funds for The Brain Tumour Charity. The festival remains committed to inclusivity, with a diverse programme that values representation from LGBTQIA+ communities, neurodivergent and disabled artists, and artists from the global majority.
With a bigger site and a bolder programme, SpiegelGardens is set to be the centre stage for Brighton’s creative spirit. So, mark your calendars and join us for a month-long celebration of arts and culture. And remember, if you’re considering a move to this vibrant city, we at Sawyer & Co are here to help you find your perfect home.
