This fantastic programme is designed to help local communities bring their green spaces to life with a little help from the experts.

In 2025, Dobbies selected winners from over 600 entries nationwide, providing them with essential tools, plants, and expert advice. Now, it’s Brighton’s turn to shine! The initiative is all about nurturing wellbeing, fostering connections, and inspiring residents to spend more time in nature. Imagine the impact of a lush community garden where everyone can gather, learn, and grow together.

Craig Allardyce, Secretary of Your North Muirton, shared his success story, transforming a plot into a vibrant garden with Dobbies’ help. His experience highlights how community gardens can bring people together, offering everything from low-cost raised beds for individuals to educational spaces for schools.

If you’re within 20 miles of Dobbies’ Brighton store and have a vision for a garden project, now’s your chance. Applications are open until 31 March 2026. Successful applicants will enjoy a consultation with Dobbies’ experts, who will recommend the best products and tools to bring your green dreams to life.
