On December 5th the Rainbow Chorus presented their fabulous Christmas show at St George’s Church, Kemp Town. Chris Sawyer went along with his family to enjoy this atmospheric community event.
Christmas was duly celebrated with an amazing evening of accomplished vocals reciting a seasonal and festive mix of song, including rousing and moving renditions from Les Miserables.
There was a real feel of community, mulled wine and cakes were enjoyed and a lot of fun was had by all.
The Rainbow Chorus is a registered charity and a real community choir, non-auditioning, carrying out many local community events to celebrate their diversity. This year they celebrate their 18th year – making them the longest running gay choir in Brighton and the only choir that embraces the whole of the LGBT community into its membership.
We look forward to supporting the Rainbow Chorus into 2016
