As part of our ongoing commitment to training in 2016, this month the Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Association (BHEAA) held its latest seminar at the Sussex Country Cricket Ground.
Paul Offley was the expert speaker and the subject for this seminar was estate and letting agency compliance.
The event proved to be very popular and was very well attended with various BHEAA member firms. We were really delighted with the turn out and we had some great feedback from those in attendance after the event too.
The BHEAA are very grateful to Paul for giving up his time to come along and travel down from Lincolshire. Extremely well regarded within the industry, we were thrilled to have him as our expert for this seminar. As a Senior Estate Agency Professional with over 37 years relevant experience, over the last 15 years Paul has specialised in overseeing Compliance within the Property Industry. Not only was it a very informative seminar but Paul also kept us entertained in his own unique style which helps to keep everyone’s attention.
These seminars have been a great way to ensure our members continue their professional development and are as informed as they can be when advising clients on specific subjects. So far this year our seminars have covered Building/Construction, Landlord and Tenant law, along with lease extensions and collective enfranchisement and demonstrate another way in which the BHEAA are helping to raise and maintain standards in Brighton & Hove.
The BHEAA will soon be amending their membership criteria so if you are a local estate agent, letting agent or property manager and would like to find out more about becoming a member of the BHEAA please contact Chris Sawyer on 01273 778844.
