As members of the Guild of Property Professionals and the Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Association (BHEAA) we’re continually striving to enhance and improve the service standards that estate agents in our local area offer.
To help ensure that the next generation of estate agents have a firm focus on improving and maintaining the highest standards possible within the profession last year we were very proud to announce that during Chris Sawyer’s tenure as President the BHEAA had begun spearheading the introduction of a two year estate agent course at Brighton & Hove City College. Yesterday Chris went to meet the first students on the course and share his wealth of knowledge on all things property.
“I went along to talk to the group this morning. The poor things had to listen to me talk for a whole hour about the various opportunities that are available to them when they embark on a career in property” Chris explained.
“They’re a great group of people and they asked some very intelligent questions. It's great to see this course start, it’s only the second of its kind in the whole country and I'm looking forward to helping the group during their course. My colleagues at the BHEAA have also kindly agreed to help with some work placements next year.
Personally I have always loved being involved in estate agency and have been lucky enough to have worked with some fantastically talented people and deal with some wonderful clients, in fact I'm still loving every minute of it. If you can find something you enjoy it doesn't feel like work does it? I hope to see those within the group begin a career in property too and I really hope they go on to find something they love doing as much as I do. Good luck.”
