Mon 15 Jul 2024
Brighton’s iconic Royal Pavilion has added another feather to its cap by winning a prestigious accolade in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2024. This award is no small feat, as it is based on the glowing feedback from visitors who have left reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. The awards aim to honour businesses and places that consistently receive high ratings, placing them among the top 10 per cent of listings worldwide.
Hedley Swain, CEO of Brighton and Hove Museums, expressed his delight, saying, "As we know, TripAdvisor reviews are all about the experience people have and has a lot to do with the welcome and care they get. This is a huge endorsement of all of our staff and how we look after our visitors."
John Boris, Chief Growth Officer at TripAdvisor, also extended his congratulations, stating, "Travellers’ Choice honours businesses that consistently demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence. This means you have made such a memorable impact on your visitors that many of them took the time to go online and leave a great review about their experience. We hope this recognition continues to drive business to you in 2024 and beyond."
The Royal Pavilion boasts an impressive average rating of 4.5 out of five stars on TripAdvisor. Visitors from near and far have sung its praises. One visitor who visited in March said, "It's brilliant actually. The Royal Pavilion feels totally out of place in Brighton. If you go to Brighton, this is the place you must see. Amazing and unique."
Another visitor from outside the county remarked, "Wow, a most incredible palace, without a doubt you must not miss visiting this and the museum. It is mind-blowing."
A visitor from Northampton added, "What a fantastic experience. The Royal Pavilion was so exotic and full of splendour. It must have been stunning when it was first built as it took our breath away."
TripAdvisor currently ranks the Royal Pavilion as the best thing to do in Brighton, and this latest award only cements its status as a must-visit attraction. So, if you haven’t yet explored this architectural marvel, now is the perfect time to see what all the buzz is about!
